Outreach

Check out a few of the organizations that we partner with here at Birchwood Baptist. Links are provided if you'd like to get involved individually.

The Gideons International

The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through associating together for service, sharing personal testimony, and by providing Bibles and New Testaments. While we are often recognized for our work with hotels, we also place and distribute Scriptures in strategic locations so they are available to those who want them, as well as to those who may not know they need them.

If you'd like to join us and get involved with The Gideons International feel free to visit this link.

Operation Christmas Child

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

At Birchwood we love working with Samaritan's Purse each year in packing shoe boxes to send to those in need all over the world. This year we will be packing November 6th + 7th.

If you'd like to pack a box online visit this link.

Annie Armstong Easter Offering

The offering was started in 1895 by Woman's Missionary Union® (WMU) to benefit the work of the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board). In 1934, it was named in honor of Annie Armstrong, a bold missions advocate and WMU's first national executive leader. Today, more than $2 billion has been donated by Southern Baptist churches and individuals to support thousands of missionaries in church planting and compassion ministries. Because of this sacrificial giving, millions of lives have been and continue to be transformed by the power of the gospel.

Every dollar given to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering supports thousands of missionaries across the U.S. and Canada. Give here.
